Wonderful, beautiful and easy to use

I am super impressed with this affordable, little sewing machine from Vniltyc. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I had pretty low expectations when I placed this order. However, my 32 year-old Janome, which has sewn thousands of miles of fabric, in on its absolute last gasp. Since I cannot afford to replace it with a comparable version at present, (or maybe ever - seriously, I cannot believe what high quality sewing machines cost these days) I thought that I would give this budget-friendly little stitcher a try, in the hopes that it could at least see me through for while. Obviously this is not a high end sewing machine with all the bells and whistles; and yes, it does have a few quirks. You cannot adjust stitch length. (Except for the couple of options available for straight and zig-zag stitches.) The stitch selector knob on my machine does not align 100% properly with its indicator arrow, so I'm never entirely sure which stitch is selected for use until I begin sewing. This is also a very small machine - I wouldn't want to take on any big or highly important projects with it. On the positive side, it does sew and sew well. It is a surprisingly weighty and substantial little machine. Don't be fooled by all of the plastic components. This is not a toy, but a well-balanced machine that chugs right along at an impressively smooth pace. Even at full speed, it does not feel in any danger of shaking itself apart, or trying to walk across the table. It is easy to thread and has a lovely drop-in style bobbin. It does have a work light. It includes a foot pedal. The reverse stitch lever functions perfectly. Yes, this machine is basic. However, the quality and functionality are every bit as good on this mini machine as they would be on a "grown-up" sized version with comparable features. Ultimately, this would be a great sewing machine for a beginner, for someone who just wants to sew some simple hems and home goods, (pillow covers, curtains, craft projects, etc.) Or, for someone, (like me) who is between sewing machines, but still has projects to tackle while saving up for a new, more high end machine. At only $55.99, it is very affordably priced for its level of quality and functionality. It has far exceeded my expectations, and I am really rather fond of it. Not good, I try to return it they said I can’t so it is not worth the price and it stops in the middle and now I buy new from singer.

Great sewing machine for beginners. Value for money and good quality.

Received as a Christmas gift. I have never used a machine and wanted to learn. I have sown a zipper on a pillowcase, hemmed curtains, reattached a cuff on a sweatshirt, and a few other minor things. It was easy to learn on this machine. It’s very basic and not complicated or overwhelming like a standard size. I keep having issues with the stitch coming out & snagging the thread but I’m sure it’s user error. It’s very light weight. Seems durable I haven’t broke it yet. I’d recommend for BEGINNERS. It also came with an abundant amount of threads and accessories to accomplish basic projects. Only wish it had other presser foot options. The universal one will do, not sure if other presser foot for other brands are interchangeable but I’ll find out.

Picked up as a beginner machine and it delivers exactly what you need to get started without overwhelming you. If you've been putting off learning to sew because machines seem complicated this one makes the learning curve much more manageable. The threading is laid out visually right on the machine with numbered steps which takes the guesswork out of setup. The stitch selector dial gives you multiple options without being confusing, straight stitch for basic repairs, zigzag for edges, and a few others for when you get more comfortable. Where it really shines is everyday practical use, sewing up holes in clothes, hemming, putting together simple pillow covers, patching blankets. These are the kinds of small projects most people actually need a sewing machine for and this handles them without frustration. You don't need a heavy duty industrial machine for that kind of work and this fits the job perfectly. The red and white design is clean and compact, doesn't take up much table space and looks decent sitting out. Comes well packaged in foam so nothing gets damaged in shipping. A couple of things to note for true beginners, watch the QR code tutorial video that comes with it before you start, it helps a lot. And give yourself some time with the bobbin setup the first time, that's usually where new sewers hit a wall. Good value for a first machine. Does what it promises.
