Will this work for a 72 skylark with 2" lowering springs?

These shocks work like heavy Duty shocks and they will lift the car up & keep it at that height , the 2" lowering springs will not matter with these shocks . Because of the springs that are made on to the shock

I'm installing Bilstein 24-029728 Front Shock with new coil springs to a '67 GTO with these Monroes in the rear. Don't believe there's any 'specific' front shock choice, but I'd research attributes to determine the quality of ride/handling you'd like that car to have and buy accordingly. I'd also say, for a nice car like that, I wouldn't go cheap.
